Conclusiones
El Mazda MX-5 Miata se mantiene como el biplaza económico por excelencia y el poseedor del record de ventas para los coches deportivos convertibles. La última generación es espectacularmente buena, a la vez que encantadoramente gratificante de manejar y con una excelente relación calidad precio. La capota rígida retráctil disponible es ingeniosa y extiende el encanto del MX-5. La fórmula Miata ha sido copiada, más recientemente por el Pontiac Solstice y el Saturn Sky. Son buenos, pero el MX-5 es más divertido de manejar. Las grandes capacidades y el factor “sonrisa por milla” del MX-5 siguen siendo los factores contra los que los roadster de dos asientos serán juzgados.
